Memorial Jewellery -
Keep Your Loved Ones Close

At The Jewellery Appraiser, we understand how precious your memories are. Our bespoke Memorial Jewellery allows you to carry a piece of your loved one with you, transformed into a beautiful, wearable keepsake using ashes or other cherished materials. Each piece is crafted with care, respect, and personal attention.

Whether you wish to encase a few ashes, a lock of hair, or another cherished keepsake, we transform it into a beautiful, custom piece of jewellery using high‑quality metal, gem‑setting, and clear resin work. From elegant pendants and rings to bracelets, our memorial designs blend sentiment with style so that your tribute feels unique and wearable.

We’ll guide you through every step: choosing the shape and metal (yellow gold, white gold or silver), selecting gemstones if you’d like them, and deciding on the resin finish or colour that reflects the memory. All materials are treated with the utmost respect. Any unused ashes are returned to you, and your piece is delivered in a beautiful presentation box.

Whether the piece is for you or a family heirloom, our service honours your loved one’s memory with beauty and dignity. Explore our memorial jewellery service today and let us help you keep them near, in your heart and around your wrist or neck.

How it Works?

We guide you gently through the entire memorial jewellery process. You can choose to have ashes, a lock of hair, or other sentimental items — such as dried flowers or even sand — carefully encased within high-quality, crystal-clear, hard, slow-cure resin, creating a lasting piece of ashes jewellery or keepsake jewellery.

During your initial appointment, we’ll sit together and talk through your ideas. Whether you’d like a completely new piece of bespoke memorial jewellery, or prefer to remodel a sentimental inherited item, I can melt down your own gold, repurpose special gemstones, and incorporate the memorial resin into the new design.

Just like with all of my bespoke work, we begin with hand-drawn design sketches. Once the design is finalised, you’ll have the option to see and try on a 3D wax model of your piece. This gives you the chance to make any changes and feel confident that it’s exactly what you imagined.

Only once you’re truly happy and give your approval do we begin making your memorial jewellery. Every piece is individually designed to honour your loved one’s personality and your unique connection. Any unused ashes are always treated with the utmost respect and returned to you.

Choosing the Materials

For every piece of memorial jewellery, I only use high-quality, crystal-clear, hard, slow-cure resin. It’s designed to be highly durable and long-lasting, and I work exclusively with ASTM I lightfast pigments, ensuring the colours won’t fade over time. Once cured, the resin becomes beautifully clear and strong — but just like a soft gemstone (such as opal or pearl), we gently advise our clients to treat their memorial piece with care, avoiding harsh chemicals, direct heat or abrasive wear wherever possible.

One of the most special parts of the process is choosing the colour of your resin. You can select a shade that holds meaning — whether that’s completely transparent, softly tinted, or a colour symbolic to your loved one. If your favourite colour is purple, for example, we can tint the resin so it resembles a translucent amethyst.

Many clients choose colours that tell a story. One of my most treasured commissions was a blue resin, carefully matched to the exact shade of my client’s father’s favourite jumper. He wore it all the time, and the colour became a loving tribute woven into the piece — subtle, deeply personal, and full of memory.

Your memorial jewellery is as individual as the person it honours, and every detail — from colour, metal and gemstones to the resin finish — is created with sensitivity, respect and craftsmanship.
